Edwin Y. Endo, O.D.

Dr. Edwin Y. Endo is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Southern California College of Optometry. He is in private practice specializing in general vision care with an emphasis on contact lenses, ocular prosthetics and progressive, preventive nutritional counseling & guidance. Dr. Endo has been a Panel Doctor for the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii since 1995 and VSP and Eyefinity doctor since 1985.

His hobbies include creative photography, nature oriented hiking, collecting rare & unusual manifestations of the natural earth, and involved with designing architecturally enhanced landscaping. Dr Endo is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Melanie K. Nakashima, O.D.

Dr. Melanie K. Nakashima is a graduate of Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science. She earned her doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry in 1983.

She is a primary care practitioner specializing in contact lenses. Dr. Nakashima was born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii. She enjoys organic gardening and likes to snorkel.



Janna M. Kuba, O.D.

Dr Janna M. Kuba was born in Japan and grew up on Oahu. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Washington University in Saint Louis, and received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1991. She chose a career in optometry to help patients maintain healthy eyes and good vision. Dr. Kuba has a special interest in contact lenses. She is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing craft projects and spending time with her husband and two children.



Amy Endo, ABOM, CPOT

Amy Endo, ABOM, CPOT is a Licensed Master Optician, a Certified Paraoptometric Technician. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Ms. Endo is an appointed member of the Hawaii Dispensing Opticians Advisory Committee, and a JWSF board member. She also served as Chair of the American Optometric Association's Paraoptometric Section.

Her awards include VSP's People First National Staff Winner; One of 50 Most Influential Women in Optical by Vision Monday Magazine; The Edge Business Recipient, awarded by Eye Care Business Magazine; Transitions Lenses National Dispenser of the Year, and the American Optometric Association's National Paraoptometric of the Year.
